Name: Weaver, masked
Classification: Bird
Place first seen: Kruger National Park, South Africa
Date spotted: January 2012
Description:
Lovely nests. Lot’s of them in tree above our camp at Lower Sabie. Babies dropped down into our camp and died. Were they pushed out or was it the storm? Babies had tiny blue feathers on their wings. Male builds the nest. If female doesn’t like it, she cuts it off the branch and it falls to the ground.
